Ar-Rahman The Beneficent medinan total:78
- ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
Alrrahmanu
The Most Merciful - عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
AAallama alqurana
Taught the Qur'an - خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
Khalaqa alinsana
Created man - عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ
AAallamahu albayana
[And] taught him eloquence - ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ
Alshshamsu waalqamaru bihusbanin
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation - وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ
Waalnnajmu waalshshajaru yasjudani
And the stars and trees prostrate - وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
Waalssamaa rafaAAaha wawadaAAa almeezana
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance - أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
Alla tatghaw fee almeezani
That you not transgress within the balance - وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
Waaqeemoo alwazna bialqisti wala tukhsiroo almeezana
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance - وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ
Waalarda wadaAAaha lilanami
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures - فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
Feeha fakihatun waalnnakhlu thatu alakmami
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] - وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
Waalhabbu thoo alAAasfi waalrrayhani
And grain having husks and scented plants - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
Khalaqa alinsana min salsalin kaalfakhkhari
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery - وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ
Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijin min narin
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
Rabbu almashriqayni warabbu almaghribayni
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
Maraja albahrayni yaltaqiyani
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side] - بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ
Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyani
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
Yakhruju minhuma alluluo waalmarjanu
From both of them emerge pearl and coral - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
Walahu aljawari almunshaatu fee albahri kaalaAAlami
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ
Kullu man AAalayha fanin
Everyone upon the earth will perish - وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waalikrami
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ
Yasaluhu man fee alssamawati waalardi kulla yawmin huwa fee shanin
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani
We will attend to you, O prominent beings - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
Ya maAAshara aljinni waalinsi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waalardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah] - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathun min narin wanuhasun fala tantasirani
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
Faitha inshaqqati alssamao fakanat wardatan kaalddihani
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Fayawmaithin la yusalu AAan thanbihi insun wala jannun
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
YuAArafu almujrimoona biseemahum fayukhathu bialnnawasee waalaqdami
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
Hathihi jahannamu allatee yukaththibu biha almujrimoona
This is Hell, which the criminals deny - يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ
Yatoofoona baynaha wabayna hameemin anin
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree] - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
Waliman khafa maqama rabbihi jannatani
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ
Thawata afnanin
Having [spreading] branches - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ
Feehima AAaynani tajriyani
In both of them are two springs, flowing - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ
Feehima min kulli fakihatin zawjani
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ
Muttakieena AAala furushin batainuha min istabraqin wajana aljannatayni danin
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Feehinna qasiratu alttarfi lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
Kaannahunna alyaqootu waalmarjanu
As if they were rubies and coral - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
Hal jazao alihsani illa alihsanu
Is the reward for good [anything] but good - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
Wamin doonihima jannatani
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ
Mudhammatani
Dark green [in color] - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
Feehima AAaynani naddakhatani
In both of them are two springs, spouting - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ
Feehima fakihatun wanakhlun warummanun
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ
Feehinna khayratun hisanun
In them are good and beautiful women - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ
Hoorun maqsooratun fee alkhiyami
Fair ones reserved in pavilions - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun
Untouched before them by man or jinni - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ
Muttakieena AAala rafrafin khudrin waAAabqariyyin hisanin
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets - فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny - تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
Tabaraka ismu rabbika thee aljalali waalikrami
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
